The engagement was announced 3 January, 2026, between George Edward Witherley (born 1995), younger son of Jonathan D. Witherley (born 1959), of Debenham, Suffolk, and his wife the former Janet E. Graham, and the Lady Alexandra Susan Katherine Taylour (born 8 June, 1998), younger daughter of the 7th Marquis of Headfort (born 10 February, 1959), and his first late wife the former Susan Jane Vandervell (1960-2008).
