The Hon Mrs Colin Dalrymple, OBE, died 8 January, 2026. She was 91.
She was the former Fiona Jane Edwards, daughter of Admiral Sir Ralph Alan Bevan Edwards, KCB, CBE (1901-63), sometime Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Fleet, by his wife the former Joan Le Fowne Hurt; and married 12 March, 1956, as his second wife, Major the Hon Colin James Dalrymple (1920-2017), fourth son of the 12th Earl of Stair, KT, DSO, DL (1879-1961), and his wife the former Violet Evelyn Harford (died 22 Feb, 1968), by whom she had issue, a son, Andrew (born 10 Oct, 1959), and two daughters, Serena (b 20 Oct, 1957), and Rose (b 6 May, 1962).
Her husband died 12 January, 2017, aged 96.
