The engagement was announced 5 January, 2026, between Thomas Coleridge Boles (born 13 January, 1989), descended from the Boles family, later baronets, son of Nicholas Charles Boles (born 20 May, 1952), of Fulham, London and his wife the former Diana M. Pigot (born 1953), & Phillipa Rhea Armitage-Mattin (born December, 1991), daughter of Nigel Stephen Armitage (born 1958) and Athena Mattin (born 1955), of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
