The engagement was announced 28 November, 2006, between Jon Paul Morse, son of Dr John Morse and Mrs Patricia Morse, of California, & Olympia Jubilee Nuttall (b. 1977), daughter of Sir Nicholas Keith Lillington Nuttall, 3rd Baronet (b. 1933), by his 3rd wife, the former Miranda Elizabeth Louise Quarry (b. 1948), dau of Richard St. John Quarry, and former wife of Peter Sellers, CBE (1925-80), the actor. George Rupert James Hennessy

Deborah J. Hennessy (nee Wallace), wife of the Hon James Rupert Hennessy, (b. 9 Nov, 1968), gave birth to a son, George Rupert James, 19 November, 2006, at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
James is the son and heir of the 3rd Baron Windlesham, CVO, PC and the late Baroness Windlesham (aka Prudence Glynn), of Burford, Oxfordshire, and Deborah is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Brian Wallace, of Sarsden, Oxfordshire.

Constance Lilian Scrope

Marianne Scrope [nee McCausland] wife of Christopher Richard Adrian [Kester] Scrope, [b, 1970], gave birth to a daughter, Constance Lilian, 27 November, 2006, a sister for Thomas Marcus John, who was b. 30 June, 2004.
Kester Scrope is the son of Mr & Mrs John Scrope, of the ancient landed dynasty of that name, and Marianne is the daughter of the late Marcus McCausland and Mrs Peter Welsh. Kester's grandmother was Everilda Sykes, of the Sykes of Sledmere Baronets.
Marianne Scrope is a daughter of Capt. Marcus Edgcumbe McCausland (b. 1933; d. 1972), who was son of Lt-Col Conolly McCausland, MC, DL, JP, by his wife Lady Margaret Louisa Edgcumbe (b. 1912), daughter of the 6th Earl Mount Edgcumbe.

The Viscountess Davidson, who died 26 November, 2006, was the 2nd wife of the 2nd Viscount Davidson (b. 22 Dec, 1928), sometime Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard (Deputy Government Chief Whip) in the Lords, &c. She was the former Pamela Vergette, former wife of Mr - - - -Dobb, & married Lord Davidson in 1975. (His former wife became the 2nd wife of the 4th Viscount Colville of Culross). She was the mother of Sally and Cory Dobb, and grandmother of Jack, Piper and Zoë.

Beatrice Merry Chetwode

Francesca M. Chetwode (nee Sainsbury), wife of James Nicholas Chetwode, [b. 1975], gave birth to a daughter, Beatrice Merry, 23 November, 2006, a sister for Freddie Nicholas, who was b. 31 July, 2004. Mr Chetwode is the fifth son of the Hon. Christopher Roger Chetwode, by his wife, the former Hon. Philippa Mary Imogen Brand, of Hampshire, & Mrs C is the elder daughter of Mr Peter Sainsbury, of Northleach, and Mrs Judy Sainsbury, of Duntisbourne Abbots. James Chetwode is a gt-grandson paternally of Field Marshal the 1st Baron Chetwode, and a grandson maternally of the 5th Viscount Hampden.

Julian John William Salmond, scion of that LG family, died 16 November, 2006. He was the elder son of Marshal of the RAF Sir John Maitland Salmond, GCB, CMG, CVO, DSO, of Lewes, Sussex, and married 22 Aug 1950, Bridget Louise Wright, 2nd dau of Fitzherbert Wright, of the LG family of Wright of Yeldersley, by his wife the Hon Doreen Julia Wingfield, only daughter of the 8th Viscount Powerscourt, by whom he had issue, Alicia, Georgiana, Venetia and David. His wife's sister, Susan, was wife of (i) Ronald Ferguson and (ii) Hector Barrantes, and was mother of Sarah Margaret Ferguson, who, in 1986, became the bride of HRH The Duke of York, &c.

Dominic's father is the eldest son and heir of the 11th Baron Carbery, and he is therefore in direct line to inherit the peerage (of Ireland).The bride is also of noble stock. Ned's great-grandfather, Lt-Col the Hon. Guy Victor Baring, Coldstream Guards, MP (1873-1916), m. Olive Alethea Smith, of the Barons Bicester, and a kinswoman of Queen Elizabeth, consort of King George VI.
Ned Baring's great-great-grandfather was the 4th Baron Ashburton (1835-89).

The Hon. Mrs William Iliffe, who died 8 November, 2006, aged 95, was the widow of the Hon William Henry Richard Iliffe (1911-59), a son of the 1st Baron Iliffe. She was the former Christine Marie Baker, daughter of Alfred Eaton Baker, MD, of Hastings, Sussex, and married William Iliffe in 1940. He died in 1959. Lafone, who m. 1928, Lady (Florence) Elizabeth Alice Byng, daughter of the 6th Earl of Strafford, of Wrotham Park, Hertfordshire. Julian Lafone assumed the surname of Byng in lieu of his patronymic, by deed poll, (enrolled at the College of Arms) 1952.

Blandford baby

(Charles) James Spencer-Churchill, styled Marquess of Blandford (b. 24 Nov, 1955), son & heir of the 11th Duke of Marlborough (b. 13 Apr 1926), of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, by his 1st wife, Susan Mary Hornby (b. 19 Oct 1929; d. 27 Jan 2005). and his 2nd wife, the former Edla Griffiths, dau of Mr Alun Griffiths and his wife, Pauline, are expecting their first child together in the spring of 2007. (Lady Blandford is four months pregnant, according to the Daily Mail) .
Lord Blandford has a son from a former marriage, George John G. Spencer-Churchill, styled Earl of Sunderland, b. Oxford, 28 July, 1992.

Lady William Petty-Fitzmaurice (nee Sansum), wife since 2004 of Lord William Nicholas Charles Petty-Fitzmaurice (b. 1973), of Bowood, Wiltshire, scion of the Marquesses of Lansdowne, gave birth to a daughter, Zara Frances Elaine, 1 November, 2006.
Lord William is the second son of the 9th Marquess of Lansdowne by his first wife Lady Frances Helen Mary Eliot, & Lady William is the former Rebecca Sansum, of Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Oliver Michael Bloch

The Lady Camilla Bloch, (nee Bingham), wife since 1998, of Michael Gordon Bloch, QC, gave birth to a third son, Oliver Michael, 23 October, 2006, a brother for Cameron Charles, who was b. 28 Feb, 2002, and for Angus John Patrick, who was b. 31 July, 2003, and a half-brother for Susy and Claudia Bloch.
Lady Camilla, (b. 1970), is the younger daughter of the 7th Earl of Lucan, and of Veronica Countess of Lucan. Her father, missing since the murder of his children's nanny, in November, 1974, was "pressumed deceased" in Chambers, on 11 December, 1992. Then, in 1999, Camilla's brother, George, Lord Bingham, applied for a writ of summons to take his seat in the House of Lords as 8th Earl of Lucan but his application was not authorised by the Lord Chancellor.

Jacob Dylan (Jakie) Dent-Brocklehurst
