Joseph Bobby [Joe] Marsham [born 2020]

_. The Hon Lucy Harriet Marsham [nee Beaumont, b 1981], scion of the Viscounts Allendale, and wife of the Hon Michael Julian Marsham [b 1979], scion of the Earls of Romney, gave birth to a son, Joseph Bobby [Joe], 24 July, 2020, a brother for Louis Alexander, who was b 4 Oct, 2014,and for Molly Tessa Cisi,  who was born 1st February, 2017.
The Hon Michael Marsham is a yr son of the 8th Earl of Romney and the Countess of Romney.
The Hon Lucy Marsham is a daughter of the 4th Viscount Allendale and Viscountess Allendale.

Saunders/Buscombe engagement

 _. The engagement was announced 1 August, 2020, between [Robert] Jack Saunders [born 1988], younger son of Mr Simon P. Saunders, of Bideford, Devon, by his former wife the former Sally Burrough [now Mrs Sally Bate, of Wimbledon], & the Hon Nathalie Jane Buscombe [born 1987], daughter of Mr Philip John Buscombe, by his wife the Baroness Buscombe [born 12 March, 1954], barrister, Conservative member of the House of Lords [Life Peer].

Ogilvie Thompson/Mali marriage

_. The marriage took place at Holy Cross, Binsted, Hampshire, 18 July, 2020, between Luke Julian Ogilvie Thompson (born 1991), son of the Rev Christopher William Ogilvie Thompson (born 31 August, 1958), of Binstead, Hampshire, by his wife the former Kathleen Jean Blackstock, & Ursa Mali, daughter of Mrs Dora Mali, of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Luke's grandfather, Julian Ogilvie Thompson married 24 July, 1956, the Hon Tessa Mary Brand (b 21 Apr, 1934), daughter of Thomas Brand, 4th Viscount Hampden (1900-65).


Sir John Guinness, Kt, CB 1935-2020

_. Sir John Ralph Sidney Guinness, Kt, CB, who died 27 July, 2020, aged 84, was a scion of the eponymous brewing dynasty, descended from a collateral branch of the Guinness baronets.

He was born 23 December, 1935, son of Capt Edward Douglas Guinness, CBE [1893-1983], by his wife the former Martha Letière Sheldon [1894-1976]. His elder brother was Sir Howard Guinness, Kt, VRD [1932-2019].

He married 15 July, 1967, Valerie Susan North [1937-2014], scion of the North baronets, daughter of Roger North [1901-85], by his wife the former Pamela Susan O'Rorke [1908-97], by whom he had issue, a daughter, Lucy [born 1970], and two sons, Rupert [born 1971], and Peter, who died at the age of 4 in 1978.


Faith/Bell engagement

Faith, second son of Brigadier Anthony John Faith, OBE [born 1952], of West Burton, North Yorkshire, and Mrs Philippa Barton, of Little Ouseburn, North Yorkshire, and Martha Clare Bell [born 1984], younger daughter of Mr [William] Robert Geoffrey Bell, of Langcliffe, North Yorkshire, by his former wife the Hon Serena Frances Fairfax [born 12 December, 1952], daughter of the 13th Lord Fairfax of Cameron [1923-64], by his wife the former Sonia Helen Gunston [died 2017], sometime Lady of the Bedchamber to HM The Queen.
