_.Mrs Richard Sikes, who died 7 August, 2020, aged 95, was the mother of Lord Savile.
She was born Presiley June Inchbald, at Chertsey, in 1925, scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Major Geoffrey Herbert Elliott Inchbald [1896-1982], by his wife the former Evelyn Rosemary Ilbert [1894-1958], scion of the Ilbert landed gentry family; married firstly, 1 March, 1946 [div 1951], as his first wife, the Hon Henry Leoline Thornhill Lumley-Savile [1923-2001], second son of the 2nd Baron Savile [1853-1931], by his second wife the former Esmé Virginia Grace Wolton [died 1958]; married 2ndly, 1953, Richard Somerville Sikes [1907-1971].
Mrs Sikes leaves a son from the first marriage, John Anthony Thornhill Lumley-Savile, 4th Baron Savile [born 10 January, 1947], and two daughters from the second marriage, Sarah Sikes [born 1956], and Susan Sikes [born 1957].
