The engagement was announced 17 January, 2026, between Henry Hugh Hazell (born May 1994), son of Mark David William Hazell (born 1959), of Monmouthshire, and his wife the former Lucinda Ann (Lucy) John (born 1967), & Iona Frances Haig (born 2 January, 1995), scion of that landed gentry family of Ramornie, younger daughter of Alexander Veitch Haig (born 19 November, 1960), of Stirlingshire, and his wife the former Susan Anne Harriet Campbell.
