Susannah Mary Hulbert (née Oliphant) died at Norwich, 9 January, 2026, aged 82.
She was born 16 March, 1943, the eldest daughter of Lieutenant-Commander Ralph Henry Hood Laurence Oliphant, 11th of Condie (1915-1995), head of that landed family, and his wife the former Barbara Mary Drake (1918-1979); and married in 1968, Evelyn Gervase Carson Hulbert, OBE (1942-2018), son of Lieutenant-Colonel John Harvey Hulbert (1912-1980), and his wife the former Elisabeth Lovett (1912-1985), by whom she had two sons, George Gervase (born 1970), and William Laurence (born 1972).
