The engagement was announced 7 January, 2026, between the Hon John Adam Humphrey Drummond (born 3 November, 1992), son and heir of the 17th Baron Strange (born 20 April, 1953), of Errol, Perthshire, and his wife the former Hon Mary Emma Jeronima Dewar (born 1 June, 1965), scion of the Barons Forteviot, & Gräfin Sophie von Einsiedel (born 1995), daughter of Graf and Gräfin von Einsiedel, of Stuttgart, Germany, and his wife the former Dorothee Philipps.
