The engagement was announced 5 January, 2025, between Milo Nicholas Fitzalan Howard (born 17 July, 1996), scion of the Dukes of Norfolk, third son of Henry Julian Nicholas (Harry) Fitzalan Howard (born 7 July, 1954), of South Harting, West Sussex, and his wife the former Claire Louise von Mallinckrodt (born 11 Aug, 1960), & Isabel Laura Brown (born 6 November, 1995), daughter of Dominic P. Brown (born 1965), of Beachampton, Buckinghamshire, and his wife the former Sara J.A. Lewis.
Milo Fitzalan Howard is a grandson of the late Maj-Gen Lord Michael Fitzalan Howard, GCVO, CB, CBE, MC, DL, and is a great-nephew of the late 17th Duke of Norfolk, KG, GCVO, CB, CBE, MC (1915-2002), Premier Duke in the Peerage of England and Hereditary Earl Marshal, &c.
Milo's mother is a daughter of Georg-Wilhelm Gustav von Mallinckrodt (1930-2921), and his wife Baroness Charmaine Brenda Schröder (born 8 Nov, 1935), daughter of Baron Helmut William Bruno Schröder and his wife Margaret Eleanor Phyllis Darell (died 1994), daughter of Sir Lionel Edward Hamilton Marmaduke Darell, 6th Baronet (1876-1954).
