David Christopher Roberts died 18 December, 2025, aged 81.
He was born 11 August, 1944 son of Cyril Alfred Roberts, CBE (1908-1988), and his wife the former Christine Annabel Kitson (1908-1996), scion of the Barons Airedale.
He married in 1973, the Hon Jane Elisabeth Sybil Roskill (born 1948), daughter of the life peer, the Law Lord, the Baron Roskill, PC, JP (1911-1996), and his wife the former Elisabeth Wallace Jackson (1918-2014). No issue of the union.
