The engagement was announced 3 January, 2025, between Angus Andrew Grafton (born December, 1996), son of Robert Michael Grafton (born 1962), of Empingham, Rutland, and his wife the former Vivienne Farmer (born 1963), & the Lady Olivia Rose Hope (born 11 March, 1997), elder daughter of Andrew Victor Arthur Charles Hope, styled Earl of Hopetoun (born 22 May, 1969), by his wife the former Skye Laurette Bovill (born 5 September, 1969).
Olivia's father os heir apparent to his father, the 4th Marquess of Linlithgow (born 1 July, 1946).
