Victor Anthony Cazalet, who died 5 June, 2023, aged 71, was a scion of that landed gentry family, of Fairlawne.
He was born in 1951, son of Peter Victor Ferdinand Cazalet (1907-1973), and his second wife the former Zara Sophie Kathleen Mary Mainwaring (1917-2004), scion of the Mainwaring baronets; and he married 25 September, 1976, Mary Isabel Dorothy (Isabee) Dawnay (born 24 Nov, 1955), scion of the Viscounts Downe, third daughter of Major the Hon George William ffolkes Dawnay (1909-1990), and his wife the former Rosemary Helen Grosvenor (1918-1969), scion of the Dukes of Westminster, by whom he had issue, a son Edward, and two daughters, Catherine and Clare.
