David Spencer Boyle, who died 20 May, 2023, aged 81, was a scion of the Earls of Shannon.
He was born 23 April, 1942, son of Lieutenant-Commander Patrick Spencer Boyle, RN (1906-1978), of Ashe Park, Basingstoke, Hampshire, and his 2nd wife the former Rita Sylvia Berens (died 2002); and married 1980, Melanie Georgiana Foster, daughter of William Robert Brudenell Foster, of Lexham Hall, King's Lynn, Norfolk, and his wife the former Jean Leslie Urquhart (1918-1986), and had issue, a son, James Patrick William (born 7 Oct, 1983), and a daughter, Fenella Maria (born 11 Jul 1982).
