Sir (David) Seton Wills, 5th Baronet died 2 June, 2023. He was 83.
He was born 29 December, 1939, son of Major George Seton Wills (1911-1979) (a younger son of the 3rd Bt), and his wife the former Lilah Mary Hare (1915-2002), scion of the Earls of Listowel.
He succeeded to the baronetcy, 19 August, 1983, on the death of his uncle, Lt-Col Sir Ernest Edward de Winton Wills, 4th Baronet (1903-1983). The baronetcy was created in 1904 for his great-grandfather, a member of the Imperial Tobacco family.
The Old Etonian married 2 March, 1968, Gillian Eastoe, daughter of Albert Percival Eastoe, of Aldbourne, Wiltshire, by whom he had one son and three daughters. The only son, James Seton Wills, born 24 November, 1970, succeeds as 6th baronet.
