The engagement has been announced between Mr Bret Kapetanov and Maddison May Olamide Modupe-Ojo (nee Brudenell, born 16 May, 1994), a descendant of Queen Victoria.
Maddison, daughter of the actor Jeremy Alexander Rothwell Brudenell (born 2 Apr, 1960) and his wife the former Edwina Victoria Louise Hicks (born 24 December, 1961), elder daughter of the late David Nightingale Hicks (1929-1998), by his wife the former Lady Pamela Carmen Louise Mountbatten (born 19 April, 1929), younger daughter of Admiral of the Fleet the late 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma (1900-79).
In 2015 Maddison married Olaoluwa Olamide Modupe-Ojo, a musician under the name "Jazz Purple". The marriage ended in divorce.
The bride-to-be has issue from her first union, two daughters, Daphne (born 26 Nov, 2016), and Phoebe (born 15 Dec, 2018), and a son, Moses (b 2020).
