Maddalena, Baroness Aylmer (died 2023)

 Maddalena, Lady Aylmer, who died 21 May, 2023, aged 95, was the widow of the 13th Baron Aylmer. 

She was the former Countess Maddalena Sofia Maria Gabrilla Cecilia Stefania Francesca Attems di Santa Croce, daughter of Count Arbeno Attems di Santa Croce (1898-1968), and his wife Princess Sofie zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg (1896-1978); and married 5 May, 1950, the then Michael Anthony Aylmer (born 27 March, 1923), son of Christopher Aylmer (1890-1955), and his 1st wife the former Marjorie Marianne Ellison Barber. Her husband succeeded as 13th Baron Aylmer (Peerage of Ireland, cr 1718), on the death of his cousin, 6 December, 1982, and died 2 Aug, 2006.

Lady Aylmer leaves issue, a son, (Anthony) Julian, 14th Baron Aylmer (born 10 Dec, 1951), and a daughter, the Hon Gioia Francesca Aylmer (born 14 Sept, 1953).
