The Hon (Alexandra) Constance Harriet Soames (nee Foster, born 1990), wife of the Hon [Arthur] Harry David Soames [born 1985], scion of that landed gentry family, gave birth to a son, Alfred Toby Anthony, 31 May, 2023.
Constance is the eldest daughter of Toby James Foster, of Stopham, West Sussex, and his wife the former Arabella Charlotte Lucinda Laing [born 9 March, 1960], descended from the Pennington-Ramsden baronets.
Harry Soames is a son of the Baron Soames of Fletching (life peer) [born 12 Feb, 1949], of London, and his first wife the former Catherine Nony Weatherall [Mrs Catherine Soames, of London, born 1956].
The infant is a great-great grandson of Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965).
