The engagement was announced 3 January, 2025, between Maxwell William Gauntlet Dear (born 1997), son of Patrick Giles Gauntlet Dear (born 1961), of Shipton Moyne, Gloucestershire, and his wife the former Jane Helen Orr Ewing (born 31 January, 1961), scion of the Orr Ewing baronets, & Rosie Grace Dibben, daughter of Piers Farquhar Dibben (born 1967), of Rodbourne, Wiltshire, and his wife the former Susannah L. Lawrence.
