Naomi Myra Chamberlain died 15 July, 2026. She was 87.
She was born Naomi Myra Mallock, 3 June, 1939, scion of the Mallock landed gentry family, daughter of Richard Herbert Mallock (1907-1988), descended from the Earls of Rothes, and his wife the former Myra Emmy Tiarks (1910-2006), scion of that landed gentry family; and married 1stly, at Kensington, July, 1957 (div), Ian Michael Sweatman (born 1936), and married 2ndly, 3 November, 1961, at Kensington, Oct 1961, Arthur Patrick Maxwell (born 8 Oct, 1937), son of Colonel Arthur Terence Maxwell, and his wife the wife the former Beatrice Diana Chamberlain (1912-1999), scion of that landed gentry family, and married 3rdly, 1974, at Ipswich, in Oct, 1974, John A. Nash, and married 4thly, in 1981, a cousin of her second husband, [William Lawrence] Austen Chamberlain (born 1 April,1944).
From her first marriage she leaves a daughter, Arabella Sweatman (born Hammersmith, Oct, 1956), and from her second marriage she leaves two daughters, Beatrice Maxwell (born 1966) and Melita Maxwell (born 1968).
Her second and fourth husbands are grandsons of the Rt Hon Sir Austen Chamberlain, KG, PC (1863-1937), who was the elder brother of the Rt Hon Neville Chamberlain, PC, FRS (1869-1940), Prime Minister 1937-40.
