Helen Lalage (Gay) Talbot Rice (née Buchanan), died 5 July, 2026, aged 91.
She was born in 1934, daughter of Charles William Edmund Buchanan, of Fife, and his wife the former Margaret Amelia Sutherland; and married 23 February, 1957, Andrew Gurney Talbot Rice (1930-2018), scion of the Barons Dynevor, son of Mervyn Gurney Talbot Rice (1899-1979), and his wife the former Eleanor Butler Adair Williamson (who died 17 May, 1965), by whom she had issue, two sons, Richard and Jonathan, and two daughters, Julia and Catherine.
