Kirsty Rebecca Barthorp (née Crampton Smith, born 1993), wife of Hugo MacAngus Fielding Barthorp (born 1992), gave birth to a daughter, Arabella Bowen, 7 July, 2026.
Kirsty is the youngest daughter of Thomas Crampton Smith (born 1956), of Oxford, and his wife the former Sandra Leigh Bowen Brooks (born 1955), also of Oxford.
Hugo is a son of Robin Michael Barthorp (born 1951), of St Ouen, Jersey, Channel Islands, and his former wife, Mrs Arlene Allen, of Oxford (nee Patience, born born 1961).
The Barthorps descend from the Courage brewing landed gentry family. Hugo is a cousin, several times removed of Harriet Phillips, wife of the King's nephew, Peter Phillips.
