Hugh Leopold Seymour, who died 6 July, 2026, aged 83, was a scion of the Marquesses of Hertford.
He was born 2 July, 1943, elder son of Leopold Richard Seymour (1912-2000), and his wife the former Sheila Butler (died 4 Feb, 1999); and was three times married - firstly, 6 January, 1971 (div 1978), Emma Mary Henderson (born 5 November, 1950), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Robert Alistair Henderson (1917-1999), and his wife the former Bridget Elizabeth Lowther (1921-99), scion of the Lowther baronets; married 2ndly, 31 May, 1979, Camilla Madeleine Gerard Leigh (born 4 July, 1952), a daughter of Col. William Gerard Leigh (1915-2008), and his wife the former Nancy Jean Leslie (1923-2012), & daughter of Wing Commander Sir Norman Roderick Alexander David Leslie, 8th Baronet (1889-1937); and married 3rdly, 30 Oct, 1998, the Hon Georgina Frances Baillie (born 11 May, 1955), third daughter of the 3rd Baron Burton (1924-2013), and his wife the former Elizabeth Ursula Forster Wise (who died in 1993).
He leaves a daughter from his second marriage, Molly Rose Seymour (born 3 August, 1983).
