Nicholas John Elliot Sealy, OBE, died 8 August, 2025. He was 87, and a great-grandson of the 5th Earl of Chichester.
He was born 3 May, 1938, son of John Edward Sealy (who died 1968), and his wife Joan Ursula Pelham (1907-1989); and married 1 May, 1971, the Hon Lavinia Caroline Piercy (born 24 May, 1947), daughter of the 2nd Baron Piercy (1918-1981), and his wife the former Oonagh Lavinia Baylay (1912-1990), descended from the Earls of Lucan, by whom he had issue, a son, Edward (born 1975), and a daughter, Lucinda (born 1977).
