(Anne) Rachael May, died 7 August, 2025, aged 76.
She was born in 1948 a daughter of Jack Watherston, of Jedburgh, Roxburghshire, by his wife the former Elizabeth McConnel; and married 1stly, 1969, Robert Gordon McIntyre (1931-1988), of that landed family of Sorn, Ayrshire, son of Capt James Gordon McIntyre, MC, QC (the Hon Lord Sorn, a Scottish judge) (1896-1983), and his wife the former Madeline Scott Moncrieff (1898-1954), of that Scottish landed family. She married 2ndly, 3 February, 2007, Charles Fryer S. May, and leaves issue from her first marriage, Jamie, Gordon, Ewan, Fergus, Gavin, & Rory.
