The engagement was announced 2 August, 2025, between Philip Lawrence Kadoorie (born 1992), son of the Hon Sir Michael David Kadoorie (born 1941), of Hong Kong, and his late wife the former Betty J. Tamayo (who died in 2021); & Audrey Bomar, daughter of Mrs Linda Thompson, of California, United States.
