The engagement was announced 3 October, 2025, between Richard Rupert M. Stanton (born 1997), elder son of Richard Stanton, of Dersingham, Norfolk, and his wife the former Anna Montgomery, and the Lady Lucia St Clair-Erskine (born 1993), daughter of the 7th Earl of Rosslyn, CVO, QPM (born 31 March, 1958), and the Countess of Rosslyn.
The Earl of Rosslyn is Lord Steward of the Royal Household and Personal Secretary to the King & Queen.
