The engagement was announced 11 October, 2025, between Henry George M. Martin (born circa 1996), elder son of Edward M. Martin, of Farley, Wiltshire, and his wife the former Charlotte L.C. Baker, & Emily Jane E. Lyle (born 1995), daughter of Alexander Lyle (born 1957), of East Melbury, Dorset, and his wife the former Clarissa Pragnell (born 1959), descended from the Goulding baronets.
