The engagement was announced 18 October, 2025, between the Hon Hamish Peter Lorne Colville (born 1989), younger son of the 3rd Baron Clydesmuir (born 8 April, 1949), of Biggar, Lanarkshire, and his wife the former Aline Frances Merriam (born 1951), & Amy Faith Saunders (born 1989), daughter of the Rev Timothy Saunders, of Sutton, Surrey, and his wife the former Elizabeth Harrison.
