Anthony Chisenhale-Marsh, who died 7 October, 2025, aged 85, was head of that landed gentry family, of Gaynes Park, Epping, Essex.
He was born 9 May, 1940, son of Major Hugo Atherton Chisenhale-Marsh (1915-1996), and his 1st wife the former Doris Mary Johnson (who died 1965); and married 7 November, 1961, Miranda Jane Woodroffe (1942-2014), only daughter of John Richard William Woodroffe, of The Glebe House, Sacombe, Ware, Hertfordshire, by his wife the former Patricia Hambro, scion of that landed gentry family, second daughter of Angus Valdemar Hambro, DL, JP, of Milton Abbas, Dorset, by whom he had issue, a son, Guy (born 2 December, 1963), who succeeds him as head of the family, and two daughters, Vanda and Kate.
