Sarah Goodbody died 18 October, 2025, aged 82.
Born in Dorchester in 1943 she was a daughter of (Humphrey) Rex Lovelace (1907-1978), of Piddlehinton, Dorchester, by his wife the former Margaret Isabelle Barnaby Duke (1915-1993); and married 18 May, 1963, Jeremy Richard Goodbody (1932-2012), scion of that landed gentry family, son of Lieutenant-General Sir Richard Wakefield Goodbody, GCB, KBE, DSO (1903-1981), and his wife the former Mary Eveline Chetwynd-Talbot (1906-1988), scion of the noble Earls of Shrewsbury, by whom she had a son, Richard and a daughter, Lucy.
