Sir Richard Latham, 3rd Baronet, died at Santa Barbara, California, 22 June, 2022. He was 88.
Richard Thomas Paul Latham was born 15 April, 1934, son of Sir [Herbert] Paul Latham, 2nd Baronet [1905-55] Conservative MP for Scarborough & Whitby, 1931-41; by his wife the former Lady Patricia Doreen Moore [1912-1947], daughter of the 10th Earl of Drogheda [1884-1957].
He succeeded to the baronetcy [created 1919], on his father's demise, 24 July, 1955, and married 6 Dec, 1958, Marie-Louise Patricia Russell, daughter of Frederic Hooper Russell, of Vancouver, BC, by whom he had issue, two daughters, Nicola [born 27 Oct, 1959], and Alison [born 17 Jan 1965].
There are no male heirs to the baronetcy and it has become extinct with Sir Richard's death.
