Robert Alan Albert died 29 May, 2025, aged 91.
The son of James Albert, of Boston, Mass, USA, he married 22 August, 1963, Revel Sarah Guest (born 14 Sept, 1931), scion of the Barons Wimborne, daughter of Major the Hon Oscar Montague Guest (1888-1958), and his wife the former Kathleen Susan Paterson (who died in 1982), descended from the earls of Huntingdon. His wife was a granddaughter of the 1st Baron Wimborne (1835-1914), and his wife Lady Cornelia Spencer Churchill (1847-1927), daughter of the 7th Duke of Marlborough (1822-1883). His wife died 8 June, 2022.
He leaves a son, Justin (born 19 Feb, 1965), and a daughter, Corisande (born 10 Mar, 1967).
