The engagement was announced 21 June, 2025, between Hugo Dominick Browne (born 27 June, 1997), scion of the Barons Oranmore & Browne, son of Shaun Dominick Browne (born 22 January, 1964), of Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, and his wife the former Elizabeth Jane Bird (born 1972), & Hetty Alexandra Fairbanks Smith (born 1997), only daughter of (Andrew) Mark Fairbanks Smith (born 1962), of South Cerney, Gloucestershire, and his wife the former Sally May Davies (born 13 November, 1960), daughter of Maj Joseph Trevor Davies (1923-1992), and his wife Lady Venetia Constance Kathleen Luz Hay (born 1929), daughter of the 14th Earl of Kinnoull (1902-1938).
