Charlotte Maria Offlow Johnson Wahl, who died in London, 13 September, 2021, aged 79, was mother of the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
She was born in 1942 as Charlotte Offlow Fawcett, daughter of Sir James Edmund Sandford Fawcett [1913-91], and his wife the former Frances Beatrice Lowe [1913-2001] . She married firstly in 1963 [divorced 1979], Stanley Patrick Johnson [born 18 Aug 1940], descended from the Royal House of Wurttemberg, and from George II, King of Gt Britain, son of [Osman] Wilfred Johnson [formerly Kemal] [1909-92], and his wife the former Irene Williams [1907-87]. She married 2ndly, in 1988, New York born Professor Anthony Nicholas Maria Wahl [1928-96].
Charlotte Johnson Wahl, an artist, leaves issue, three sons, the Rt Hon Boris Johnson [b 1964], Leo Johnson [born 1967], and Jo Johnson, the Baron Johnson of Marylebone [born 1971], and a daughter, the journalist and writer, Rachel Johnson [born 1965].
