Annabel Jean Findlay, who has died suddenly, aged 56, was a scion of the Findlay landed gentry family.
She was born in 1965, a daughter of James Steuart Findlay [1925-2005], of Newliston, West Lothian, and his wife the former Marjorie Macleod; she married in August, 2002, Charles Angus Millar [born 15 June, 1963], son of Angus George Millar [who died 1996], and his wife the former Julia Mary Cathcart [1936-2000].
Her husband descends from the Earls Cathcart:-
