_.David Kenneth Lancelot Ruck Keene, who has died aged 72, was a scion of that landed gentry family; born in 1948, son of Thomas Ruck Keene [1922-2004], and his wife the former Anne Coventry Greig [1924-91]; and married 1976, Tania Wild [born 1955], daughter of [William] Anstey Wild [1927-97], of Ingleby Toft, Stanton-by-Bridge, Derbyshire, and his wife the former Pamela Dawn Lawton [born 1930], by whom he had three daughters, Katherine, Rosanna, and Lucia.
His middle daughter is the wife of William Henry van Cutsem [born 1979], scion of that landed gentry family.
