Geraldine Mary Hamilton [née McAndrew], who died 27 November, 2020 at home in Chichester, aged 87, was a scion of the McAndrew landed gentry family; born in 1933, the elder of the two daughters of Gerald Alexander McAndrew (1894-1950), sometime head of that gentry family of Headley Park, and his wife Patricia Margaret Elphinstone (1906-99), daughter of Sir Howard Warburton Elphinstone, 3rd Baronet (1830-1917). She was the widpw of the Rev Dr Peter Napier Hamilton [b 1923-], descended from the 2nd [now extinct] Earl of Leitrim [1768-1854], &c, by whom she had three daughters, Sophie, Kate and Lucy.
