The engagement was announced 2 October, 2021, between Arthur James Scott-Bowden [born 1993], third and youngest son of Major James Russell Scott-Bowden, the Welsh Guards [born 1958], of Alderley, Gloucestershire, and his wife the former Nicola Jane Shepherd, and Lydia C.G. Barge, eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs Henry Barge, of Auchtermuchty, Fife.
Arthur Scott Bowden is descended from the Price baronets:--
