Frederick Charles Theodore [Freddy] Markham, who died 27 September, 2021, aged 72, was a scion of that landed gentry family, son of Canon Gervase Markham, MBE [1910-2007], and his wife the former Barbara Mary Dalzell Banks [1916-92]; he married in 1976, Suzanna Pauline Steel, daughter of Ian Steel, of Kirkwood, Lockerbie, Dumfries.
