The engagement was announced 14 October, 2021, between Joshua Edward Vignoles Barnes [born 1992], elder son of Jeremy Edward Barnes, of Bristol, and his wife the former Camilla Imogen Vignoles, and Olivia Rose Bence-Trower [born 21 January, 1992], scion of that landed family, daughter of Nicholas Alexander Bence-Trower, of London, and his wife the former Nicola Sophie Bell.
