The marriage took place in North Yorkshire in the summer of 2004 between the Hon (Edmund) Hugh Roche (born 5 February, 1972), second son of the 5th Baron Fermoy (1939-1984), and his wife the former Lavinia Frances Elizabeth Pitman (born 18 April, 1941) (now wife of Nigel Edward Corbally Stourton, scion of the Barons Mowbray, Segrave & Stourton) & Phillipa Kate Victoria Long (born 1972), daughter of Derek F.D. Long (born 1941), of Goldsborough, North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Elizabeth Rae McGregor (born 1945).
The Hon Hugh Roche is the heir presumptive to his elder brother, the 6th Baron Fermoy (born 11 Oct, 1967), and is a first cousin of Diana, Princess of Wales.
