Hugo Anthony Meynell, who died 1 October, 2021, aged 85, was a scion of the Meynells of Langley, born 23 March, 1936, the posthumous son of Capt Godfrey Meynell, VC, MC [1904-1935], and his wife the former Sophia Patricia Lowis [1905-91], and married in 1962, Anne Kirtland, by whom he had issue.
