The engagement was announced 10 October, 2020, between Matthew Thomas Michael Pigott [born 1992], son of the late Lieutenant-General Sir Anthony David Pigott, KCB, CBE [1944-2020], by his wife the former Felicity Anne Astley-Cooper [born 1954], of Figheldean, Wiltshire, & Diana Stewart-Brown, daughter of the late Ronald Stewart-Brown and Mrs Stewart-Brown, of Charlbury, Oxfordshire.
Matthew's mother, Lady Pigott, is a scion of the Cooper baronets [UK, cr 1821].
