Elizabeth Katharine 'Liza' Grenfell, who has died aged 78, was a descendant of the Thompson baronets [of Park Gate House, Guiseley]; she was born 12 March, 1942, daughter of Hugh Kenyon, by his wife the former Mary Winifred Thompson [1909-2001], daughter of Sir Peile Beaumont Thompson, 4th Baronet [1874-1972].
She married 31 Dec, 1977, Francis Pascoe John Grenfell [1938-2011], a grandson of Field Marshal the 1st Baron Grenfell [1841-1925], son Maj. the Hon Arthur Bernard John Grenfell [1908-42], by his wife the former Eleanor Dorothy Alice James [died 2004].
