_.[Francis] Conor ffrench-Davis died 18 October, 2020, aged 79.
Mr ffrench-Davis was descended from the ancient Barons Stourton. His ancestor was Charles Philip Stourton, 17th Baron Stourton [1752-1816], seated at Allerton Park, co York. His peerage was created in 1448.
He was born 30 June, 1941, son of Capt. Francis Holdsworth ffrench-Davis [1908-44], by his wife the former Ingrid Margaret Mary MacDermot [1914-2003]; married 21 July, 1962, Prudence Mary Fiona [Prue] Smith-Wright [born 1944], daughter of John Evelyn Smith-Wright, by his wife the former Cicely Nolan, by whom he had four sons and two daughters.
