_. Sir John Cave, 5th Baronet, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Devon, of Sidbury Manor, co Devon, died at Sidbury, 14 June, 2018. He was 59.
John Charles Cave was born 8 September, 1958, eldest son of Sir Charles Cave, 4th Baronet (1927-97), by his wife the former Mary Elizabeth Gore (b 1929), scion of the Earls of Arran; married 1984, Carey Diana Lloyd (born 1962), daughter of John A. Lloyd, of Taynton, Co Oxford, by his wife the former Pauline D. Cutts, and had issue, three children, 2 sons and one daughter. The elder son, George Charles Cave, who was born 8 Sept, 1987, succeeds to the baronetcy.
