__. Dr Tom Stuttaford, OBE, who died 8 June, 2018, aged 87, was Conservative MP for Norwich South, 1970-74.
Dr Stuttaford was the medical correspondent on the Times newspaper for many years.
He was born Irving Thomas Stuttaford, in 1931, second son of Dr William Joseph Edward Stuttaford, MC (c1879-1956), of Norfolk, by his wife the former Mary Royden (who d 1975); ,married 1 June, 1957, Pamela Christine Ropner (b 1931), scion of the Ropner baronets, of Preston Hall, second daughter of Richard Ropner, TD (1898-1975), of Aldie, Tain, Ross-shire, by his wife the former Margaret Forbes Ronald (1905-76), daughter of John Ronald, of Larbert.
Dr Stuttaford leaves three sons, Andrew (b 1958), Thomas (b 1961), and Hugo (b 1964).
