__. Caroline Elizabeth Tufnell, who died 4 June, 2018, aged 55, was a scion of that landed gentry family and a granddaughter maternally of the 5th Baron Ashtown (1901-79).
She was born in 1963 a daughter of Colonel Greville Wyndham Tufnell, CVO, DL (b 1932), by his first wife the former Hon Anne Rosemary Trench (1936-92), daughter of the 5th Baron Ashtown.
