The Lady Crowther-Hunt, DL, widow of the life baron Lord Crowther-Hunt (1920-87), died at her home 15 October, 2005. She was aged 83.
She was the former Joyce Stackhouse, daughter of the Rev. Joseph Stackhouse, of Walsall Wood, Staffordshire; and married the then Norman Crowther-Hunt in 1944. She was the mother of three daughters, Elizabeth (b. 1947); Rosamund (b. 1950); and Penelope (b. 1955).
Lady C-H was a deputy lieutenant for Oxfordshire, and was President of Oxfordshire Guides. She was appointed Lazo Dama de Isabel la Catolica 1991.
The funeral takes place at St. Peter's Church, Wolvercote, Oxfordshire, 21 October, 2005.
